Bloggers Note:

Blogger's Note:
I began my walking diary on 10/14/2016. However, it wasn't until November, that I set up this blogging site. That explains discrepancies in dates/times mentioned in early entries, and the shown date of posting. For chronological list of posts, please click on the blog archive link in the right side column under my profile.

A Step Up

Today I'm up to half a mile. I'm ready. That quarter mile walk was getting too easy.

I was expecting the half mile to be okay ... and it was. And the sleeves meant to supply extra support to my ankles and archs felt okay. I did the half mile in 17-minutes. Time is really not an issue or goal for me. I time myself just to see how I'm doing. Also, the Crescent City Classic stops counting finishers after 3-hours. That means I must do each mile in under 30-minutes. Consequently, I press the stopwatch when I take my first step, and again on my last step.

So, it’s one foot in front of the other to the finish line!
